Fist Batch of Pictures

In Nairobi since late Friday night. It's so amazing to be on the other side of the world. Just returned from a trip to the national museum, then attempted to do some shopping. Back at the hotel now, going to relax today before the real adventure starts tomorrow with a four hour dive through the bush to Amboseli National Park.

En route-

AA Flight #22 -A very round about way to get there. Layover tonight at JFK, then depart tomorrow(Wed) morning for London. Two night stay then off to Nairobi on Friday.Oh the joy of using Frequent Flier miles...

The Next Chapter

Now that school is (almost) done, i'm focused on the next chapter. Which right now is...no, not a job, those are as scarce as hen's teeth right now. It's my trip the first of July, first to London, then to Nairobi for a safari in Kenya. The trip will wind down with four nights at Lamu on the Indian Ocean(can't wait to see my third ocean) and then back to London for a few days. Nervous about going, haven't been out of the country since 2003 and haven't had a real vacation since then either, well except for a nice trip to the American Southwest last summer. Hopefully I'll be able to update this with photos and entries, or maybe I'll be too busy to worry about a computer. Taking my Nikon D300 and a HUGE lens so there should be a lot of pictures and HD video too. More later.
